Timothy Anderson, a lifelong nature enthusiast, transitioned from a 12-year-long career in higher education to impactful roles in non-profits like the Girl Scouts and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Seeking a more hands-on connection, he became an Interpretive Park Ranger for Oregon State Parks before settling as the Events & Marketing Specialist for Parks, Recreation & Aquatics for the City of Fife. His career reflects a deep commitment to environmental education and community engagement. Tim chose to work with Sahale because of this commitment and appreciates Sahale providing outdoor opportunities to underserved communities.

Margaret grew up in Southwest Iowa and loves living in the Pacific Northwest with the short drives to great views. She enjoys eating Thai food and having adventures with her kids. From a young age, Margaret has felt happiest being in nature. She believes it is important for everyone to have the opportunity to find a way to connect with nature. Her background in working with kids and volunteering led her to the support of Sahale and desire to be a part of the board.
