We need volunteers in many different capacities!

Tiny Trails Guide: If you have experience working in early childhood development, we would love to have you be part of Tiny Trails! This program gives 4-6 year olds the freedom to explore a local state park, while the guides support their ideas and interests, keeping them safe and cared for while letting them take the lead in how to engage with their environment.

Backpacking Guide: Are you passionate about instructing in outdoor skills and supporting youth as they explore what the outdoors brings to them? Our week-long summer backpacking trips are structured around giving middle-school and high-school students space to explore, empowering them by sharing outdoor skills, and supporting their interests while teaching them about the natural world around them.

Day Trips Guide: This versatile guide position includes day hiking with Pinecones (ages 7-11) kids, assisting with our Belong Outside program, and leading educational hikes for adults.

Skills Course Instructor: If you have the certifications to instruct in Snow Skills, Crevasse Rescue, Wilderness First Aid, or other advanced outdoor skills, and want to share these skills with marginalized communities, please join us!

Program Support and Fundraising: There are many “behind the scenes” areas we need help with, including event planning, grant writing, social media management, program administration, and fundraising. If you would like to get involved in any of those capacities, we would love to have you!
