Logistics and Support
All ages welcome! Whether its food packing or event planning, behind the scenes support is often the most needed.
- Program preparation and event staffing

- Office and Education Center
- Skills include organizing, cleaning, event planning, grant writing, media production, bookkeeping, and fundraising.
Guide Programs
These opportunities are open to adults, as well as high school students through our Youth Guide program. Youth Guides will be paired with adult staff to provide mentorship and support.
- Trips are for 6th through 12th grade
- Week-long backpacking trips during June, July, and August
- National Parks in Washington
- Skills include working with middle school and high school students, outdoor skills, a passion for science and nature, and empathetic, supportive, trauma-informed interpersonal skills.
- Trips are for ages 16+
- Single day and weekend trips and events
- Classroom or local outdoor settings
- Skills include the ability to teach CPR or BLS, Wilderness First Aid, mountaineering snow skills, Crevasse Rescue, wilderness survival skills, birding, forest bathing, yoga, and more! Make the outdoors more accessible by volunteering your time and expertise.
- Trips are for ages 7-11
- Single day adventures, or week-long camps from 8 AM to 4 PM
- Local city and state parks
- Skills include adaptive education and recreation, multi-cultural competency and humility, and the ability to teach basic outdoor and self-care skills with patience.
- Trips are for ages 4-6
- Day camps from 9 AM to 1 PM, year round
- Local city and state parks
- Skills include early childhood development, childcare, and age-appropriate science and nature teaching
